Met up with these guys again the following day (they were going to leave in the morning...) to do a sled recovery. Dude was pretty glad to be back on his sled.

Pretty sure they're going to be reevaluating what's in their packs before they head out here again; experience is a hell of a teacher. They got real lucky finding us, and not just joe-schmoe trail rider.
