When I first got the reel I was stupid and didn't adjust anything and my casts were obviously shit. Now (I think) I have it set up right and it's casting a bit better but still seems lacking. Do I probably just have poor technique? Am I wrong to think I set it up right and should start over? I've got 10lb mono and a texas rig on it (just what I had on hand), do I need to use heavier stuff since it's a heavier rod? Probably a combination of the three?
I know it's hard to say probably based on this little info alone but thanks for any advice, sorry I'm a retard.
