I was a treeplanter in BC.
The company I was with was a "Motel" show. You stayed in a motel for 20$ a day. Cooked your own meals. Made your own food.
30 minutes to 2 hours of driving. Planting was usually 9-10 hours a day.
The first couple weeks I was making less then minimum wage.
I was the slowest planter at 700-900 trees a day.

^It is all true. You have been warned.
Consider that, then consider flipping burgers.
Highlight of my time treeplanting was crossing a stream that cut my piece of land in half. The water of the river was warmer than the air outside. It was pouring down sleet and snow. I figured I was going to go from hypothermia. The trees are packed in wax boxes. I was so cold. I took some empties and stacked ten of them. The sudden heat was so intense I had to back off 10 paces. The heat was so strong, it lifted a flaming box up in a vortex and took it in to the forest.
The weather changes so fast. Sometimes the ground would be frozen and my fingers would go numb.
One time there was so many bugs biting me at a time I could swipe my hand across my arm every few seconds and count 6, 4, 5, etc... every single time....
I roller skated around a small town with a canada flag as a cape drinking vodka out of a watermelon trying to forget what I was doing.
If you want to make money, you're planting a tree every six seconds as soon as your boots hit the ground. You'll be dreaming about planting trees. It will consume you.
Now consider that sometimes you have to plant carcinogenic fertilizer beside it. Your flimsy glove rips. You keep planting.
I love tree planting, I hate planting trees.
