>>2234241>>2234242>>2234255I always go back to lighter action rods after using my medium heavy and medium for awhile. something about a nice medium light with a 2000 reel just does it for me as my bass or "bigger fish" rod. otherwise I use my crappie rod and 1000 reel the most. I just love casting my crappie rod one handed all day long with just the flick of the wrist. it handles 3lb bass just fine. just way more species to target with a light action rod in most places, and I personally like using insect style lures or small crankbaits/jigs/spinners.
