Pipe of the night
Big Bill billiard pipe filled with a new arrival-War Horse Bar.
About the only things notable about the pipe is where it was made (the tiny island of Malta) and the cost to me-just $1, unsmoked.
It doesn't have great wood or a nice finish. It's got at least 10 fills on the outside that I could find underneath the dark finish and at least 5 more pits inside the bowl. But for all that it's drilled correctly, proving once again that engineering overcomes material and you don't need to spend a fortune to get a good pipe.
The War Horse Bar is strong. "Full flavored" is a fitting term. If you like your tobaccos to taste like tobacco and provide some Vitamin N, this fills the bill very nicely. At the end of Bowl 1, I'm definitely feeling it. It'll definitely put hair on your chest, as well as your pipe, your chair, and any nearby small animals. It's a plug so you'll have to cut your stuff off with a knife, but it does cut easily, packs well and takes a light readily.
>>991263It's a Turkish-made meerschaum that cost me just $11 online, with shipping.
I keep telling people to look at used pipes. This is why.
