Finally got the wood out of my axe head so I can re-haft it. Debating whether or not to try and rescue the circular wedge which was in the old handle, though most of the tutorials I've seen start with removing the wedge (which wasn't really possible with this round wedge without pulverising the rest of the wood around it, which is what I've done).
