I got these a few days ago but haven't been online to post. They're a pair of scrapers for cast iron pans! I plan to use them with this little 6 inch skillet I bought. I want to take it out on the next backpacking trip I go on, and these should help keep it clean. I know it seems insane to bring a cast iron skillet because of the weight, but this miniature one only weights about 2 lbs, still pretty heavy, but nowhere near the 10+ lbs of a full size one. Should be a fun challenge at least, and food always cooks great on cast iron.
This was the first Secret Santa I've participated in, and overall I gave out five gifts and received two. I think a lot of people just post their lists with no intention of buying for anyone, which is disappointing, but I heard back from 4 out of the 5 I gifted for and it felt nice to spread some holiday cheer, so I think I'll be back next year :)
