>>2312078I think that pic is a Mepps Agila #4 with a pink blade and brown skirt. Those Mepps and Rooster Tails and Blue Fox spinners work great for sneks. They like to hide in some weeds or grass and jump out when a fish swims over, so they hit the Mepps hard when they feel is buzzing along the top of some grass.
Pic related is another good size snek on a Mepps. One of these was protecting the fry. Normally they only strike once and if you don’t hook em, they will never go for the bait again once they feel the metal hook. But that time I was running the Mepps through the canal and I could see the big group of fry jumping at the top when they were running from the Mepps, and then the mom would hit it, but not like a full bite, just trying to get it away from the fry. 3rd or 4th time I hooked the thing.
