Most people troll for them with a flasher or dodger with a wedding ring and half a nightcrawler on the hook. I'm not a koke expert so I don't know if they cruise the banks in the morning/evening looking for food, but you'll probably find trout there. Wouldn't hurt to ask a local or search area forums for intel. Be prepared to alter your approach too. I've gone on trips where I get skunked from the bank, but strike up a conversation with a friendly fisherman and end up getting invited out on a boat for an afternoon.
