Buy land and build a house on it is step 1. Step 2 is getting critical infrastructure finished depending on your wants: solar, rain catchment, shed, stuff for canning, paths on your land etc. step 3 is getting set up to plant food and house animals so you’ll need food plots and a chicken coop and possibly a barn etc if you have cows. Step 4 is doing the work and then harvesting it, canning it/storing it/ processing it Step 5 is improving your process for maximum yield with minimum effort (still gonna be a lot of effort). Step 6 is when you’re comfortable with what you have and want to expand what you can grow and make. Could add bees, start hunting, set up a still, grow luxury crops like tobacco etc.
