In my club its obligatory for each person to make his stuff - clothes, footwear, tools, etc - by himself. A few weekends worth of time goes just in stiching the clothing you wear. Then you have to learn the basics of leatherworking to make yourself a pair of leather turnshoes. Any knives/axes/metal tools are also hand forged under the guidence of our blacksmith.
