>>292009A few days later, I was riding a bus I rarely ride to just go up a hill when a homeless girl who we suspected had something to do with the robbery hopped on. I debated confronting her for a moment, since she slightly matched the description the guy who'd been carrying my bag gave as one of the three who were trading the things and was already a prime suspect before hearing the description. We met once a few weeks ago in passing, as I was running the hobo shop. From what I'd heard from everyone else she was a total junkie who couldn't be trusted as far as she could be thrown, but like 2edgy I was generally apt to give people the benefit of the doubt.
I moved to the front of the bus and sat across from her. She stared at me for a moment and I broke the ice by asking if she'd helped 2edgy rob our house. She was confused at first, then she got rather upset that I was accusing her. She invited me off the bus to talk about why I was accusing her and so we hopped off and talked. In retrospect I approached her all wrong about the situation, but I'd had a long week and was feeling rather shit so I didn't think it through. I never claim to be perfect in my methods.
It was pretty silly, I did ask her about several things including why she'd left and not returned to the neighborhood right after leaving, about how several stash spots in the house were raided and would have only been known by someone who'd stayed in the house before - both 2edgy and her have stayed there.
