I got this el cheapo reel mostly because I liked the little ugly stik rod it was on, it only lists up to 8lb line on it, will it damage the reel if I put some 15lb line on it instead? And what about using braid instead of mono? I'm asking because I have done this with several other cheap reels in the past and I tend to wear them out and destroy them very quickly, I wonder if it's because I'm putting too heavy line on them, or if that's unrelated and it's just because I abuse them in other ways
