4 person = 3 person
etc...
this applies to 100% of trekking pole ul tents and 90% of free standing ul tents on the market.
when in doubt look at the footprint and measurements on their website.
if one of those persons is a woman you should probably bump it up another size or get a non ul tent, or they'll complain.
manlets and turbo manlets can swing -1 size.
