Made these two a few days ago, jute twine and some scrap leather. Idk what I'm doing wrong with that weave but it just keeps bunching up on me, so I made the one with a leather pouch and it's quite nice. I'm brand new to slinging but I'm a decent shot with the bow so it kind of aids the instinctive throw, I guess? Vowed to practice every day and so far, so good, I don't expect stellar results. Trying to go through at least 300 stones a day, more if I have the time.
What are some good slinging techniques for beginners? I've had good results with the overhead, with the "basic" sideways kind of throw I'm very consistently too early or too late on the release and idk what to do about it. Underhand has some uncanny accuracy but it feels very weird and uncomfortable.
