Hi /out/. I have owned a small strip of land (about 20 acres) for many years now but in the past few months I have been trying to attract wild animals to basically settle and live on/around my property. There is a very small population of deer in the area and I was wondering if someone were to come onto my property and kill the deer or any other wildlife such as rabbits or ducks is there any legal protection for that besides trespassing laws? I know I can’t stop the animals from wandering to other peoples property but as long as they are on my land I want to spare them from being hunted if I can.
