It's weird to me that these threads are almost entirely Hollywood feature film.
When I think of "/out/" in film I almost always think of independent documentary, sports and mountain culture stuff. So like Reel Rock or Banff Mountain Film Festivals. I'm kinda surprised how heavily skewed away from what I have always thought of as actual outdoor film these threads are. People suggesting random feature films just because they happen to be set outside. I know, that's a pretentious take.
You can watch Banff Mountain Film Festival online, because COVID. Patagonia Films are usually pretty good. If you want to watch a movie about the most based /out/ person to have ever lived, watch "Dirtbag - The Legend of Fred Becky".
