You can kill any game in North America with a 40-45lb selfbow, so why spend $10 dollars an arrow and $600 per bow? Because you are a consumer, that why.
I'll prefer to keep hunting with bows and arrows I make myself, thank you very much and there is absolutely nothing wrong with hunting with traditional bows. The skill required is vastly greater than hunting with a compound bow.
