Absolute amateurs.
Let me show you how it’s done.
Exhibit A, and the first line of defense is the ol’ Ostrich. This longhandled rockpick is great for breaking off samples, hooking a handhold around a tree or root in a steep ascent and braining dogmen. You’ll please note that the tip has been coated in silver leaf. Although it is not visible, the hammer is similarly silvered. It requires revisiting after every /out/ing, but more than enough of the surface is covered at any given time to ensure that when a dogman goes down, it doesn’t get up.
