>>2745231Based. I’m taking a new approach with this years chickens. My other chickens are… assholes? Yeah assholes. I’ll be downsizing soon. Most of these are reaching the end of laying anyway. I’ve been babying the fuck out of the very small amount of birds I got this year. They get treats and pets and held everyday and the rooster gets carried around by the four year old. I’ve been fucked up by my chickens and I don’t trust the womenfolk around the dominant rooster or hens. I was considering getting one of those pool liners but I’m going to wait and see. On Easter morning I woke up to the neighbors dog having killed 4 chickens and my 3 breeding turkeys (that were starting to lay) so I picked up two more turkeys and chicks (fucking tractor supply makes you get four) one turkey died immediately so I picked up an additional 3 birds that are only a couple months old. I’m going to keep them separately for now anyway because they’ll get destroyed by the older ones so I’m hoping I can get the plucky duck to be frens with the three new birds.
