Hi, guys. For hunting squirrel, rabbit, etc. in forests and with a lightweight setup, what would you recommend?
Ideally, the weapon would be small, light, accurate, quiet, sustainable, and autoloading.
Possibilities:
>(Recurve) Bow: Light, quiet, hand-powered, can make ammo. Not small, not as accurate, can lose/break arrows.
>Hand crossbow: Small, light, quiet, hand-powered. Not as accurate as rifles, can lose/break bolts.
>Pellet gun: Can be small, accurate, quiet, requires pellets (tiny but heavy), can be autoloading?, hand-powered. Laws?
>.22 rifle: Can be small, accurate, autoloading, requires ammo (small but heavy), but laws get in the way. Not as light and not as quiet.
Thoughts? What did I miss?
