Hey guys, I'm trying to catch black bass, which I have never caught before. I went out to a canal with pic related
>>1051094 , and I would spot a bass (I should also note that this is very clear water) and I would cast across to the other side of the canal where from there I would reel it in, and it would flutter to the bank where I was standing. On the path to my location, a black bass (I think you guys call it large mouth bass) would stand to the side of the lure, with the lure passing in front of its face, but all it would do, is it would swim off. What am I doing wrong?
