On top of that, only a select few do really hike in extreme conditions for prolonged time periods, and that goes for both continents, I assume >95% of reviewers are wearing their stuff casually. Finally, we do have some terrain variation too, the only thing we really lack in Europe is a tropical climate (something comparable to Florida or Hawaii), so in that category maybe we can't discuss with you. But the Alps are no joke and can be pretty rough on you and your gear
