I think it wasn't even the gnats that carried them from tub to tub and instead those trich spores were mixed into the sub from that bucket, bc like I noted with my trich situation for my tester mono; there was no way the trich spores didn't blow around from that fully triched container and onto the other 3 clean ones, way more spores carried to those containers by passive air then some gnats could ever transport
When you get started back up again I hope eliminating that bucket solves your problem
On another note, I spawned some ovoid grain to an outdoor patch today. Never tried this before so idk how well its gonna work and I won't find out until like mid September to November. I'm pretty sure the spawn was a bit bacterial since it colonized very slowly and had some metabolite beads sparsely scattered thruout the jar, so I figured fuck it let me just dump it I'm a moist area with soil, twigs and sawdust which is what I did. I made some other jars which don't have this problem (these colonized fast and there's no metabolite beads) and I plan to make woodchip spawn with and will make healthier patches out of them. Picrel at the lower center is where I made the patch. Picked a place in this trail park that's off to the side where no one goes and which always stays moist even when its dry out.
