So looking at this one, the bigger the square is for the colour, the lower the population density. That one makes the Kootenays look the same as vancouver when there's only two towns in the whole area above 10k people, and only one above 20k. If you were more precise with your colouring you could probably cut the coloured area to 1/3 that size
