Jesus christ the low-IQ vagrant retards are colonizing this thread like the maintenance closet on a brand new underpass.
"I'll hunt fox for pelts"
>WHAT?? YOU'RE GOING TO INCINERATE EVERY ANIMAL YOU KILL? YOU CAN'T DO THAT!Europeans don't eat canines you fucking morons, of course he'll eat the deer and boar, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Nobody eats fox, thousands of foxes are shot in Germany every year and there's still a massive population since they can subsist by eating prey animals and raiding garbage cans or dumpsters like raccoons do. Rabbits are unable to efficiently repopulate certain areas due to the artificially large fox population, propped up by human waste.
>>1512609>killing is badYou're a goddamn baby, I wish that we didn't hunt the wolves to near-extinction, then they could have culled your ass while you were walking around the woods smoking reefer.
>>1512493>CZ 550 in .308Good for taking boar and deer in America. Maybe ask your local hunters if they've used .308 before.
If you want a forward-mounted scope check out the Ruger Scout Rifle in .308, you might like that better, but for a "traditional" setup you aren't going to beat a 550 without getting pretty expensive.
>fox gunYou'll want a separate gun for fox. Even .243 is too large for fox. A lot of guys use .22Hornet, CZ also makes a rifle chambered in it. Once again maybe ask the local guys if they've shot with it before. You're going to want a round that is specifically fur-friendly, and .22Hornet seems pretty fur-friendly.
>handgunsGet a revolver in .22lr, it's one of the funnest guns you can possibly own. The Ruger Single-Ten fits the bill, but they also chamber most of their revolvers in optional .22lr. I say go for one with ten rounds in it, skip all of the ones that only hold 6-7-8. Your other handgun, I don't know, it depends on what you're into, but everyone enjoys a .22lr revolver.
Next time, just ask /k/.
