>>21656he actually had major surgery on his rear left leg about 4 years ago for a ruptured CCL, ended up rupturing the CCL in his right as well a year or two later but i could NOT afford to do another TPLO procedure (in the neighborhood of $3K per leg). so for a long time i figured his hiking and camping days were done, but he came back strong and amazingly is back near 100%, i can tell hes pretty sore after hiking but in my mind its better for him to get out in the woods and be sore than to not go at all.
