>>2000692General Sherman in Sequoia National Park. I went on holiday there with my girlfriend a few years ago, but she has since then left me. Whenever I think of General Sherman it makes me sad. Thanks for making me feel sad OP.
I was talking about it with my friend because in the Natural History Museum in London they have a cross section of a giant sequoia with all of the dates on the various historical events. We were wondering how many couples have stood under General Sherman's branches to take a happy photo while on a nice romantic California road trip, only to separate later on? How many bitter sweet memories have there been with General Sherman? Then when she left me it was the most recent happy memory that we had together so I got a bit obsessed with it and bought lots of tacky souvenirs off eBay related to the Sequoia National park and the General Sherman tree. Thank god that people of heartbreak/madness is finally over.
Pic related is a nice t-shirt I found on eBay and vintage souvenir plate.
