while 6 miles may not seem like a lot to some of you for my out of shape friends whom i was trying to get into camping/backpacking it was still tough on them. i Expected this before going out and thats why my pack has some pre conceived compensation for them. again this was also a learning experience for me, as ive only one one trip before this and that was a 4 mile hike, but i am just starting and i will continue to work my way up. thanks for all the positive feed back and actual advice!
