Hi /out/, I live in a first floor flat and over the last few months have made a few purchases to take care of my massive garden.
Originally the lawn was filled with moss/weeds and a lot of the grass was dying, I've removed most of the moss and was going to plant seed, however It's not really rained like it should for the last 3-4 weeks due to summer weather.
So I cracked and bought a hose set. Now, I live in a first floor flat and my garden is absolutely massive. I have 50m of Garden hose and it is just a bit too much, and quite heavy to coil/carry each time.
Sadly I can't fit an outdoor tap where I live, and not from my first floor.
What I'd like to know is:
Is it possible to cut a length of hose to drop down to the ground floor of my garden and terminate in such a way that I can connect the bulk of my hose separately?
I'd like to do this as I plan to plant some grass seed soon with topsoil, but watering could be a huge pain if I have to throw and coil the 50m hose every time from my flat.
Thanks /out/!
