people here in europe have literally decades old forum and irl fights over what constitutes as what trout and it always starts if someone mentions brown trout
basically according to the law if brown trout has access to a lake you are not allowed to take it unless it is 50cm long but if there are some obstacles like damns or waterfalls preventing it doing so then you kind of can fish them but still can´t unless you´re in a certain area in a certain country at a certain time
endless fun this law i hope i wont ever have to argue about it with license inspector
