Huge puffball anon here. Sorry to say but the thing had bugs all through it. I got to cutting it within the week, but the whole thing was bug filled, all little nasty grubs or maggots. I'm sure I ate some bugs in my test cooking, but they were too small to see.

IMO the inside is interesting. Almost like hard boiled/cooked egg yolk in consistency. Crumbly but also creamy and somewhat spreadable if that makes sense. You can mold it like clay. A bit softer than cooked egg yolk. I'm about to peel the outer edge off and cook it.
