http://www.knifeup.com/knife-laws/Personally, I carry a cheep no-brand razor knife / clip knife as my work knife, (machinist) as it works
well for cutting cardboard, plastic wrap banding and occasional scraping and I can get replacement
razor blades for free at work.
My after-work "civilian" EDC knife is a CRKT K.I.S.S. which is sturdy yet light weight and small
enough that I can clip my key ring to it when /out/ to keep my keys from falling out of my pocket.
