You're better off buying a stainless t3x in 30-06 and use the savings towards training as well as hunter education courses/classes (how to actually hunt). A 3-12, 3-15, 3-9, or even a 2.5x10 power scope is fine too. Deer/moose/caribou are not hard to kill and they dont know what brand of gun you have nor how much money your entire kit is worth.
Finding the animals and knowing how to process the
ani.al after you shot it is the most emportant part of hunting.
