Actually haven't fished since we got this thing in 6 months ago or so. It's so hard getting bat rays in fishing from the dock, we had hooked 10+ and either just snapped the line or spooled it (with an offshore Tuna rig), or had them wrap around the piling, finally got a fairy big one in and lost the drive to catch the monster. There's definitely 100lb+ ones where we are fishing but would have to get extremely lucky to get one in. If you live on the west coast and just want a good fight toss a whole squid in there and go after these bat rays (or if you are Vietnamese and somehow know how to eat them).
