>>89454There is a tool for it called a woodburner which is like a soldering iron but with heads you can change. Basically the metal tip gets hot and when touched to wood burns it, they are fairly cheap. For this I drew on the design with a pencil and then burned it, I would recommend burning some wooden spoons for practice as they are so cheap.
