Should there be a price hike on entrance fees to the national parks for non-citizens/foreigners?
As a US citizen, some of my taxes fund the national parks. I also have to pay for a park permit. Meanwhile, a chink visiting the US only has to pay the same park permit as I do. As a US citizen I’m paying more than a chink to visit our national treasures.
This will also have the added benefit of smaller crowds. It won’t be much because someone who pays over a thousands dollars for a flight won’t mind spending and extra $100 to visit the national parks. But any relief helps.
