>>1969632>>1969803Most "adv bikes" are really just a bastard creation between a street bike and a touring bike. You might as well get a more comfortable dedicated touring bike which you will still be able to take on gravel and grass. Taking an adv bike on an actual trail is going to suck balls and you will get stuck.
>>1986012I think the worst part about ebikes right now for touring is keeping them charged/fueled. If you are set on getting a touring e bike I would wait a few more years for tech to catch up and for better bikes to come out.
>>1986069problems I can see thus far are that the tires are going to be way too small to go over anything. If a 8 in diameter log is fallen in front of you it will still present a large obstacle. Although you could probably dismount and lift it over the tree lol. I'm also skeptical if it will have enough torque to carry a fully grown man and his bag over a hill.
>>1969605this is mine. r8, h8 I don't care. I did a few months of research and I always came back to the conclusion that a KLR 650 would be the best bike for me. It's still a work in progress as I get more comfortable taking it off-road and on trails.
