>>2772338alidade and finder are 100% intact, these instruments are older than the lookout itself (outside of the alidade map, which was replaced before this season). there was a guide on how to gauge fires with them but I never got a pic, this link here is the exact literature in the lookout itself. from my experience i'd say 2/5 lookouts still have a working alidade, and even less have a usable map unfortunately.
