It's true that jobs at a "company that wants all of their employees to be mindless drones" is all you will be able to land in the future.
Though it might surprise you that there are small, awesome companies where you can make great money, work with your friends and still not have a stick up your ass.
HR manager! Double kek. Our company doesn't even have one of those! I'm an engineer and I do dope shit all day while talking about anything I want without fear of HR or any of that crap.
Obviously interviews still need to happen as we have quite a few people who want to be working here, so I usually just do those with one of my buddies.
That way I can make sure we keep the culture here the way i like it.
