Workaday look without have to fraud your way into it, like surplus gear or something secondhand with somebody’s name on it. A simple hint at a story you can’t really tell but anyone can guess at. It’s an affected look without trying to affect a look, a posers dream. Not that I am calling you any more a poser than myself, as I too run a cheap and extremely out of date pack with suboptimal padding that is almost as old as I am, and largely because it’s cool.
