>>2438340Usually D3100 w/ 35mm f1.8, a tiny tripod and shutter release cable for if I want to do night stuff. I pretty much just shoot landscapes and a little bit of macro, and do some software pano stitching. I also have an 18-250mm which I use mostly for city/travel.
I used to shoot a lot but I have done very little in the last couple years. I kinda refocused my adventures to be more introspective so I document very little these days.
>>2438742I use a Lowepro toploader camera bag that I attach to my backpack hip belt with a carabiner. Keeps the camera off to the side from my legs, easy access and the bag is quite padded so I'm generally not worried about protection. I'll sometimes attach my camera's shoulder strap to a second carabiner on my backpack's shoulder strap so that I can pull it in an out of the camera bag without risking a complete drop.
