>>615439It's really refreshing to hear praise for Chilliwack from somebody else who grew up there. I was born in Chilliwack too and lived there till I was 19 before moving closer to Vancouver for school / work. All of my friends and family are from Chilliwack and most of them really take it for granted, I did too for most of my life, my perspective of the town really changed once I moved away and now it feels like The Shire to me. Admittedly there's not a whole lot appealing about life in downtown Chilliwack, but most people living there fail to see the absolute paradise surrounding them 10 minutes in every direction.
