It's really tricky catching those huge fish from bank only fishing. I've caught some bigger ones without the photo shoot, mostly due to big ones taking the hook deep. Don't want to keep them out of water all day. (various other I swear it was this big)
About a 4lb Large Mouth, on a Glades Minnow fly in a residential canal. It was awesome seeing this guy chase my fly, but after he got to it I saw several bass twice his size swim by. Always be happy you had a chance to be part of that fish's life as it was with yours.

I have been having phenomenal luck with a fly rod. I just took it up a couple weeks ago and I don't know if I even want to go back to spinning reels...
