I have very little spare clothes, basically one tshirt, and two sets of socks and undies, and none of my food requires cooking, though it is occasionally heated over a fire. That sure saves some space, but that hardly explains such a difference.
Apart from that, I have everything else, and then some, which includes things you haven't mentioned but probably carry:
>2 water bottles + cloth filter + coal + iodine>flashlight + headlamp>firesteel + lighter + lighter fluid + tinder>compass>shower flower + nail clippers + washing line>2 knives & sheaths + combo pliers>distress flares + mirror + whistle + monocular>bivy bag + tarp + mosquito netAnd I'm probably forgotting some.
Food consists of:
>dry sausages>gingerbread>couscous (vegetables & chicken) + semolina (cold water is enough to have it swell)>dried soup>trail mix: muesli + nuts + almonds + dried fruits>tea (when fire is available)Cookware consists of one steel plate and two steel cups.
