I use some goofy ass thing that looks more or less like this without the rain fly. I don't camp that much so I have used it on 10 trips in just about as many years. When my dad bought it for me I must have been around 12 years old and I'm 25 now and it has never ripped or failed to keep bugs and water off of my short of user error. The last few times I used it, enough water condenses on the inside and drips onto my face by around 3am like clockwork if I'm anywhere even remotely chilly.
I need to use it again soon...
