>>2642300My nigger, german fabric manufacturers describe fabric weight in pieces of 1m of woven fabric. Which is usually 1,5m wide, which is why the weight in g/m^2 is 2/3 of that. I think they do it on purpose to make the fabric seem heavier than it actually is. You can find the calculation on the hedlund page (they all get their fabric from the same manufacturer).
