My basil plant is sick. I re-potted it about two weeks ago and my roommate accidentally gave it waaay too much water after the re-potting. I think the plant may have root rot and I am going to check the roots this weekend. Is there any other way to check for root rot other than removing the plant from the soil? Is there any way to rule out other diseases? The plant does not have pests and it has been wilting for about a week.
Thank you to anyone who helps me out, I've grown really attached to this little plant and I don't want it to die.
