Posted this one before, but this is timothy hay. In this pic I'm using a haybob, or a tedder, in order to get some airflow to the cut grass. It needs to dry and cure much the same as marijuana.

Not that anyone on 4chan might know about any of that.

There is a bit of yellowing but it's subtle and difficult to see from the photo alone. I'm growing in a plot (10'×22') that's nothing has ever been planted in and was just weeds. I bought a cubic yard of compost from our city's municipal site and threw it everywhere and then turned/mixed the soil with a shovel because I'm too cheap to get a rototiller. But then I start to wonder if the compost was maybe still a bit fresh to be mixing into the soil.....maybe I just don't know shit about home gardening though I feel like I should because I'm a farmer. It goes to show that farming and gardening have little in common I suppose.
