>>2599522>>2599733>>2601344Thanks. Good to know it's not as unusual a desire as everyone I know tries to make me believe.
>>2599533Spent one already. Was pretty rough, didn't have a wood stove or wood chopped. I bought a direct vent wall heater that doesn't use electricity, just propane. Worked OK, but I'd keep it in the low 60s so it didn't eat too much fuel and turn it off when at work. It just makes a lot of noise from expansion when heating.
>>2599573I think the taxes would be under a grand. Probably more like $750 for a high estimate judging from other land in the area. So I'm saving some, not really worth it in my opinion. Most acreage is in MFL in Wisconsin, and I think it's why you don't see really old trees in most places. It's being regularly harvested. There's a few big pines, but mostly everything is under 30 ft that I've seen.
>>2599588>>2599697I've spoke to locals and it's just trout because it flows too fast for much else. There's a reservoir up the road tho that I always see people fishing at. Haven't tried it yet tho.
>>2602124I have nothing to do with it. It's just how the come. I just wish they weren't so proficient at finding pine resin and burrs with their fur. Attached a pic of them while visiting family.
>>2602944There's not much more to get pics of without walking in the water. Maybe I'll do that this week. What do you want to see?
